SPARS has been awarded a contract to review proposals submitted to the KANSAS MASONIC CANCER RESEARCH INSTITUTE. Ideally, those projects chosen for funding based on the AIBS SPARS review process will contain a translational component which emphasizes moving basic or population-based research into the clinic where it can directly affect cancer prevention, detection or treatment.
